Could some indication of the size limit of posts be provided, preferably as you are typing. It would be good to have a 0-100% thermometer as you type. Even like the Inbox is % full indicator, which could be placed below the text input box.
It would also be good if Preview and Submit had the same limits, not realy a preview as it is.
How do others attach pictures and keep in the limit ? I presume the limit only applies to text character count.

Hi John,
I aggree with your comments on preview and submit. When preview is fine it does not automatically imply that the submit will be fine as well!
For pictures I use ImageShack - you do not need to register. The limited text size is especially irritating when trying to share code.
Perhaps one should upload his text as jpg should it get long

I think the that a picture is saved as text (only the link is saved) and therefore is seems like more "space". Only when the page is selected the graphics is loaded. |
