Could some indication of the size limit of posts be provided, preferably as you are typing. It would be good to have a 0-100% thermometer as you type. Even like the Inbox is % full indicator, which could be placed below the text input box.
It would also be good if Preview and Submit had the same limits, not realy a preview as it is.
How do others attach pictures and keep in the limit ? I presume the limit only applies to text character count.

I aggree with your comments on preview and submit. When preview is fine it does not automatically imply that the submit will be fine as well!

For pictures I use ImageShack - you do not need to register. The limited text size is especially irritating when trying to share code.

Perhaps one should upload his text as jpg should it get long Very Happy

I think the that a picture is saved as text (only the link is saved) and therefore is seems like more "space". Only when the page is selected the graphics is loaded.
