I have recently obtained an academic licence for FTN95 and upgraded to VS2008 on an XP System and my files are on a network drive and then synchronised to my laptop on disconnection. My problem is that when I try the downloaded solutions (I have tried most with S4 Factorise), I can build, error free, a .exe file but when running/debugging I get
"System.TypeInitializationException was unhandled" with the message point to Application2. To get to the build I had to change some settings since I gather they were set up for VS2005, however Silverfrost and the developer managed to point me towards how to get a successful build. So I can build but not run, and to date I have not managed to run any program, all for the same error message. Can anybody help with what seems to be an interaction with my system?
