We are currently investigating a problem with our file server that we use to hold the large amount of data used and generated by our software compiled with FTN95. We recently moved to use the 6.10 compiler for our production software, previously we were using version 5.50. We need to rule out the compiler change having a role in the problem. What changed in Salflibc between version 12.2.27.20 and 13.3.23.20 in the functions responsible for I/O, querying file metadata and directories, and other file system operations?

Thanks,

Quintin

I don't know of any changes that will be relevant to your problem.

For many purposes FTN95 and salflibc.dll are independent so if you can test with using the old salflibc.dll then this will give you the information you need.

Thanks Paul. Would there be any changes due to the compiler itself? I'll give the old Salflibc.dll a try.

All of the I/O library is in salflibc.dll.
