what are the basic commands to create, compile and run fortran programs? are there any other suggested basic commands I should know of? |

There is a "Getting started with Plato3" in the help file FTN95.chm.
All you have to do is create a file and click some buttons.

Another newbie here.
Tried the simple "get started" program in the help section. It is supposed to print some numbers in console.
I get a console window with "press return to exit ", but not the program results.
Also do not get the "personal use" banner.
Must be a swtich or setting someplace ???
