What is the code to locate something at a certain position on the display screen? I have asked this before, but I get stuck following the answers that I have been most gratefully!!! receiving. However, I only have this particular, specific, and no more, rooky question. Example code would be fantastic. In C this would do the job at the drop of a hat:

Uses windows.h

void locate(short x, short y)
{
COORD pos = {x, y};
SetConsoleCursorPosition(GetStdHandle(STD_OUTPUT_HANDLE), pos);
}

Many thanks, Patrick.

Since posting the question re x, y positioning on screen, I have discovered that an easy way is to create a file in compiled c, and refer to it form your FTN program. In C, relative on screen position is easily done.
