Probably an old SALFLIBC.DLL somewhere in the path ....

We need more information. What does the failure look like.
Have you simply copied an exe to a new machine without copying salflibc.dll also? |

Paul,
If it is anything like I experienced - which you diagnosed for me as an old Salflibc.dll - the program may well run for a bit and then just close down without anything in the way of an error message.
What a lot of users don't know is that the Salford Diagnostic Tool can find all instances of critical files, and show you where they are and what their version number is, so you can find the out of date versions.
