Can Silverfrost Fortran be used with Visual Studio 2008? If so, which version of Visual Studio is necessary - Express, Standard, or Professional? _________________ Mike Dallwitz |

I believe that you would need standard at least to get the functionality required by FTN95. To attempt to install the plugins manually, then try extracting the exe that FTN95 comes packaged as to a temporary directory and you will find the .msi files there. Try installing the 2008 one directly. |

I have the Express version of Visual Studio 2008 installed.
I tried installing the plugin manually, but it said 'Visual Studio 2008 must be installed ...'. So evidently the Express version isn't recognized.
Thanks. _________________ Mike Dallwitz |

Thanks, Carl, but I've already bought the Professional version. _________________ Mike Dallwitz |
