Delay in sending PMs

When I send a Private Message it stays in Outbox for many hours - does anyone know how to fix this?

When you send a message, the recipient is sent an email from the forum The message stays in the Outbox until the intended recipient reads the message.

Ah!! I see. I thought Outbox meant it was Drafts. Thanks!
