Hi Paul
Greetings
Does our FTN95 support the Visual Studio Community 2017?
If not, is there a plan to release the updates for VS community 2017?
Please advise

Hi Paul
Greetings
Does our FTN95 support the Visual Studio Community 2017?
If not, is there a plan to release the updates for VS community 2017?
Please advise
I am also interested in this, if it is so I was not aware, is it only for community edition and not pro/enterprise?
Should support both pro/ent/community.
But my ask is whether the VS 2017 plugin for FTN95 V8.3 available or not.
Awaiting PaulLaidler's reply
I would like to add that even for the VS 2015 plugin Fortran colorisation is still a problem (for instance .lt., .eq., .and., sqrt, dot_product, log, exp, max, abs)
Klaus
The Visual Studio plug-in does not provide syntax colouring for .lt. etc.. Neither Plato nor VS provide syntax colouring for the standard functions.
Given the current length of the wish list, I am reluctant to add these to it.
...just to say that I am interested too. I hope that the plug-in for VS2017 will find a place in the list! Thanks.
As Paul has indicated there isn't a plug-in at the moment. There is a project underway to produce a VS2017 plug-in but it is proving to be a considerable amount of work!
Paul,
Does the latest release 8.40 support the VS plugin 2017?
Version 8.40 doesn't contain a VS2017 plugin. There is a plugin but we haven't finished testing it yet.
The title of the post is rather misleading. Is it because the question mark is missing?

Paul, Wow. It is good to hear in this New Year 2019. Do you refer to that untested plugin for VS2017 in Version 8.40?

Agreed Eddie. 😃
But not sure how to edit the title of this thread now. Rather than 8.30, we can change it 8.40 to reflect our FTN95 latest release..

Yes I think that is what Robert meant in his reply.
JohnS, Sorry for the belated reply.
Yes. You said it right. Can We expect the Easter eggs soon to be out? 😃
