Print to monitor

When I print* 'THIS IS MY FIRST PROGRAM' The readout on my monitor is very faint. How can I improve the readout?

One way is to add the line

WINAPP

before your main program.

Alternatively, when running in a 'Command Prompt' window (DOS box), change the properties of the window; use the system menu by clicking in the top left corner and select 'Properties'.
