How do I make Plato delete the word just left of the cursor. Many popular editors use ctrl-backspace for this task, but Plato does not and I can't find anything else that works.
Plato, delete word to left
You can create your own macro for this and assign it to Ctrl+Back.
Place the cursor to the right of a word in the text.
Go to Tools then Record/Configure macro. Give the macro a name or use the default Macro1 etc.
Select the key VK_BACK and click on the Ctrl check box and then click on the Record button.
In the text, press Ctrl+Shift+Left Arrow and then the Back key to delete the word.
Stop the recording using the small Record dialog that is showing.
That's it.
Thanks Paul. This works great, and exactly as you instructed.
