keypress routine

4 Apr 2015 4:23 #16121

Me again.

Does F95 have a keypress command?

Specifically, one which says IF a key is pressed, do something ELSE continue current program

The intent is to interrupt a running program temporarily.

As for example, move a cursor on a chart being displayed.

In a console app or a Windows app?

For the former, read the downloadable FTN77 library reference (available in the FTN95 part of the website under 'documentation').

For the Windows side make a button (%bt) or an accelerator key (%ac). Drawing surfaces respond fully to mouse clicks and keyboard keys if you provide the code in the appropriate callback function.

Thanks.

Could be either one so I'll pass this along to him.
