SET callback function

I use the SET callback function fairly extensively, and find it very useful for avoiding having to create countless functions myself. However, SET only allows one to set an integer variable. Are there equivalent built-in callback functions that can set character or real variables?

No, there is no equivalent to 'SET' for real variables. I will add it to the wish list.
