Copying many existing files in a new project

11 May 2013 2:42 #12204

Hello !

I want to create a 'project' which, in starting, should include for example 5 useful files which are in a directory R1, then 3 in another R2.

I thus created a 'File → new project', then I copy the 5+3 files with clics on : 'Project → add existing items'. But they appear in window 'Project Explorer → Sources Files ' of my new project with their origin path.

What makes that when I modify for example an instruction in one of the files of the project, it is the one of the directory R1 or R2 which is modified !

It is not exactly what I wish to make : (

Is one of you can say to me where is my error??

Thank you in advance 😃

You can use 'Save As...' on the File menu or just copy the files in Windows Explorer before creating the project.
