W8-Link unable to write executable file

Dear Paul, with my new PC (windows8) the slink works well with obj, dll, lib but at the command 'file filename.exe' the system locks, is unable to write the file. With my old PC, Windows XP, all is working well. Can you help me? Thank in advance
