Shaped window example

I figured out how to shape a window and drag it with mouse from it's client area.

Use right mouse button to bring up popup menu for actions. When in shaped window mode, clock can be moved by dragging it with left mouse button.

Wow! That was cool! I was thinking about this feature many times, really missed it, and planned to ask folks here if this is ever possible.... Will look at that when will have time and meantime can you explain in a few simple sentences how it is done? Can any shape window be made?
