Logging window using %lw format code in Windows 7 32/64bit

Logging window created with the %lw format code becomes non-responsive when running on Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit....works find on Window XP.

Can you post a small sample program that illustrates the problem?

It it appears that the 'Desktop Window Manager Session Manager' was causing the problem as %lw works fine when this service program is disabled.
