Enable line numbers in print menu

23 Nov 2011 8:03 #9265

Hello,

I have a 'huge' code and need to print it. The line numbers are displayed on my screen, but when I print the code, they dont appear on the paper 😃

I looked at the options of the print menu but I couldnt find any box to check in order to enable printing line numbers.

I hope some one can help me.

Cheers Miriam

Try compiling it and printing the list file - that will have line numbers.

Or alternatively try Ultraedit Ian

If you are using a Plato project then you get a listing file by looking at the Project Properties and then in the Compiler Options and Diagnostics, select 'Output listing file'.

Otherwise you will need to add /lis to the FTN95 command line switches.

Ultraedit will be the name of a third party editor that you will be able to download by searching on the Internet.

I couldn´t check the project properties buttom. It is not activated. I am quite new in Fortran and Plato-World so that I couldnt make usage of the lis command. 😦 Frustration, this should be easy but I dont get it. Still need help!
