I have been running the Plato3 software on WinXP SP3 and it works fine. I reloaded all of the routines on Windows seven and I get several interruptions that are generated by the system. Are there issues that exist with Windows 7? Please advised.
Windows 7
I am not aware of any problems but I have not tested under Windows 7. If you are getting interuptions because of access rights then it may be that the only way to avoid these is to run Plato as an administrator. I have used Plato under Windows Vista without any problems and I assume that the issues are similar.
Hi Paul: Thanks for the DLL to fix the problem with Win 7, 64 bit. I will give it a try. I have downloaded the latest version of Fortran, vers 5.4. Do I re-load and how do I include the DLL that you sent me? Sid Kraft
Use the latest download. Rename the existing salflibc.dll or move it to a safe place in case you need to go back to using it. Replace the existing salflibc.dll with the new one in the archive that I sent to you.
