Bypassing \"Updating References in VS ?

Is there any way of manually skipping the Updating References stage during compilation in Visual Studio? I know it could be a bit dangerous but it can take an age when all I'm doing is re-running the compiled program to debug it. Alan

I'm afraid there is no way to skip this build step at present.
