Hi,
Is it possible to compile a single source file with FTN95 under .NET 2003? When I right-clink on the file in the solution explorer window nothing happens ...
thanks in advance,
d. |

You cannot compile an isolated file in Visual Studio. It must be in a project. You can do this in Plato but Plato does not have debugging support for .NET. |

Well, my file is in a project ... But the only way I can get anything to compile is to build the entire project (which is wasteful if the project contains multiple files, in my case, up to 10-20 at times). Is this really the only way? |

Right click on node for the file in the Solution Explorer.
But this does not link.
The Build process should detect file dependency and recompile only dependent files. Rebuild will compile everything. |

paul - I *am* trying to compile by rightclicking the file name (i am assuming this is the 'node' you refer to?) in the solution explorer - but nothing happens. I tried this with other projects, restarting .net03, etc, to no avail. |
