I have downloaded FTN95 v5.01 but I cannot see any difference to
version 5.0. The exe module has the same size and version (4.42.0.0).

Best regards

If you are referring to the update exe then:

5.00 size 30,709KB
5.01 size 30,919KB

I think the 4.42 version number is a reference to the self extracting code version

c/net claims it is 5.0 and it was uploaded on 7 December. The download is exactly the same byte size as 5.0. Seems like they have not posted it yet. Is it elsewhere?

FTN95 5.01 is already available to customers with update protection.

Sorry, the size is identical: in both cases the size is 31 446 064 Byte when looked under properties, in the explorer I find for both 30710 kB.

PS. When I install "V5.01" the compiler message is still version 5.0.0

Hello
I did the downlod of 5.01 from customer page.
And I think it worked.
I don't know were to look up the compiler version, but Plato is correctly updated to the new Version 3.41.
Most of the exe files (e.g. ftn95.exe) are dated 18.12.2006
So I think it is correct
But I am not using VS version.

Type ftn95 at a command prompt ... but if your datestamps are 18 Dec, that's v5.01

When I follow the download instructions for download 5.01 I end up in a panel which allows the download of FTN95 5. The date added is December 7,2006 and this is obviously version 5. So were do I get the update 5.01 from?
Best regards, Klaus

If you have purchased update protection then use your username and password at the login page -- you can download from there.

If you are after the personal edition then you will have to wait until download.com make it available - they do things at their own pace.
