I am currently trying to run an old program that requires DBOS.
When I try and run the program comes up with the prompt "Salford University FTN77 programs require DBOS".
Does anyone know if this is available and if so, where it may be available for download?
Thanking in advance for your assistance.

Dave

DBOS will not run on a Win32 operating system (Windows NT/2000/XP).
You will need Windows 95 or Windows 98.
The supplier of the executable should have a copy of DBOS to give you.

DBOS is nolonger supported.

Thanks for the reply Paul.
The operating system I am operating in is 98.
The program was written in house and the old machine we were keeping purely for this application spat the dummy and have had to source an old machine to keep it running.
Unfortunately we have no back up copy of DBOS.
Any thoughts?

We do not have a DBOS we can send you. Do you not have a backup of the old machine -- the directory your are looking for is dbos.dir
