Hi,
I'm using Plato 3 to develop a Fortran 95 program. A couple of days ago, the Output window "disappeared." This is the window which appears when compiling the code, and which displays errors / warnings / etc. I've closed and re-opened Plato 3 several times, but still no Output window.
I've selected and de-selected "View - Output Results" several times as well, still to no avail.
Any suggestions? Other than re-installing the software?
Thanks.

There are a couple of things you could try (note that performing these actions will wipe any custom settings you had made):
- rename plato3.ini from the installation folder to something else
- delete the registry key under HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSalford SoftwarePlato3
Obviously the latter assumes you have knowledge of the registry. When you restart Plato it should be back at default settings. |

Thanks for the advice. I had the software uninstalled and reinstalled by our support group here at work, but I'll save your suggestions in case I ever encounter the same problem.
Thanks again,

I have the same issue
I tried to re-install three times FTN95 (1 time I even check on my computer if they were any plato files), do all you advise but it still doesn't work.
My program is running and I just get an empty dos Windows.
Please I want this beautiful debugger to come back |

If you are having problems with the debugger windows, try deleting SDBG.ini in your c:\Windows\System32 folder. |

It just worked again.
I have changed randomly some options and then right click on the debugger tab (windows bar) to maximize the windows and it pops up again. |

where is SDBG.ini? I couldn't see that in my C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder!
What should I do to have the debugger working again? It was really very helpful!

I would expect to find sdbg.ini in C:\windows\system32 or its equivalent.
Try using the file search facility by right clicking on the Start button. |
