Does the personal edition of Fortran 95 also support fixed format fortran 90 code? I am trying to get a Fortran 90 program to compile, and while it works perfectly on Compaq Digital Fortran, FTN95 always creates all kinds of errors that I am assuming are some differences in Fortran 90. vs. Fortran 95? Any way to fix this, and or/ anyone know where to download a free strictly Fortran 90 compilers? Many thanks.

The simplest way to compile fixed format Fortran is to give your file the .for extension.
Alternatively you can use /FIXED on the command line.
