|
|
I would like to perform transient heat calculations using the Finite Element Method, where I intend to implement internal heat sources given as a function of temperature history or time. In order not to start from scratch, I am looking for an open source (or low cost sources) FEA system in FORTRAN and would appreciate any suggestions. |

If you would like a program written in c. 1970 and modified many times since, including some graphics, send me a PM.
Eddie
PS. It uses 4, 8 or 12 node isoparametric elements with Gaussian numerical integration and solves steady or transient (time-dependent) problems. You may have to work on varying boundary conditions. |

I couldn't send you a PM, each time I tried I got an error DEBUG MODE Line : 124 File : smtp.php, so I allowed myself to contact you using the known email address. |

That's fine by me. I have sent to source code by return.
