Hi all of you,
maybe this is a stupid question (but I did not do any programming for 25 years, and many things have changed during that time).
When I run compiling and linking in Plato release mode, I receive a .exe file of my program - but this seems incredibly small. If I want to export this to other users, that may not have Salford software installed, what items do I have to export to end with an executable object ?
Best regards
Norbert
(oh by the way, many thanks to the Silverfrost people to be able to use a personal edition !) |

You also need to copy the salflibc.dll file that contains the run-time library. |

Thanks Robert, but out of this there comes a new question:
Is it in accordance with the license agreement I signed when I export this library ? I am user of the personal edition of FTN 95 ??

It depends what you are doing. If this is for personal use then yes it is within the licence. If the compiler is used within an educational, governmental or commercial environment then an academic or commerical licence must be purchased. |

Thanks once again.
The program is definitely for personal use. It is to provide realistic scenery based on digital elevation models of the earth's surface to the users of a railway simulation propram for hobby usage.
I feel free to export this dll too.
Best regards
Norbert
