Report the bugs, people. Make small demos exposing bugs.

Make suggestions for improvements.

And specifically if you are using the free version of the compiler and do not report the bugs and send no suggestions consider yourself as a procrastinator thinking others will do the job for you. Or even a parasitic element.

Your silence is damaging. You need actively help the community like Mecej4, JohnCampbell, Ken, Eddie, some others are doing.

And one more thing: compiler developers have to encourage users to report problems and send suggestions. Never heard a word in this direction from them. They may think this is damaging their reputation but in reality this shows that they do care to deliver the perfect product.

Theere is the reason why so many professionals hated Windows for example. And worst among the procrastinators are billions of dumb Microsoft OS users. For example, open its c:/Windows/Notepad.exe and highlight with the mouse some words. You will see that Notepad still highlights the words together with comma after it. Laughing Laughing Laughing I am counting 30 years with that bug for fun, and no one idiot reported that ( i use NoteTAB Pro not Notepad. Do not use NoteTab Light, it is even worse here)

A large majority of the bugs that are reported on this Forum relate to:

a) Fortran 200x features that have recently been implemented

b) 64 bit issues that become apparent when users go beyond the limits of 32 bit addressing.

Some reports relate to Fortran 200x features that have not yet been implemented. These should not be classed as bugs because we do not claim that FTN95 supports all of 200x.

Is it possible that most of our users find no fault with FTN95?
