|
|
I am trying to update/merge code I have been working on with different PC's.
To review the differences, I am opening files of the same file name from two directories.
Is there a way to display the full path name of each file in the file window header ?
Unfortunately Plato apears to be focused on developing a single project. It is not easy to identify the path of a file that is opened.
The only way I am aware of how to find the path of a file is first select the file window, then select File>Open or the Open icon in the toolbar.
Is there a better way ? |

By default Plato provides a tab view and if you hover over a tab then a tooltip is displayed providing the full path of the file. There are other ways to get the path but this is the simplest. |

Paul,
Thanks for the advice.
The tree name does display if in "tab view", bu if I select Window > Tile Vertically, the hover does not appear to work.
I can't see how to go back to the "tab view" after selecting "Tile Vertically" ? |

John
Select "Castcade" then maximise one of the child windows. |
