Can anyone enlighten me why Intel called its compiler Visual?

Can it for example in debugger show you not only the value of some variable but also plot the graph of this variable if it is the 2D or 3D array? I permanently see pictures of what may look like a debugging with some nice 3D plots over the source code, but looking closer you see that this is not a debugging process but the execution of the program with the plot on top. Big difference!

It is only called Visual Fortran on Windows. I had always assumed it is a play on 'Visual Studio'.
