I've always found the online search facility on the silverfrost website somewhat idiot(that's me)syncratic.
why does the silverfrost website search box facility sometimes report zero occurences of a search keyword when there are in fact actual occurences of it ?
maybe I'm just missing some trick or other ? _________________ ''Computers (HAL and MARVIN excepted) are incredibly rigid. They question nothing. let me be more specific
Try typing 'TEX' in the search box on the silverfrost.com homepage.
If finds Nothing.
Now try typing 'SVG'.
Loads of results.
Now select Scalable Vector Graphics (!;svg) from the list found.
And there you'll see loads of instances of 'TEX' are present and found.
So why isn't anything found when searcing directly for 'TEX' then ??? _________________ ''Computers (HAL and MARVIN excepted) are incredibly rigid. They question nothing. 'TEX' does find something now. The index for the website uses Lucene and only gets updated occasionally. |
