Is this possible? If so, what would the syntax be? %mn is not a control, per se, because I tried:

Code:
    i = winio@('%mn[help[help]]%ud&',button1,15)

And it threw a run-time error about the %ud not being used with a control.

/CHECK_WINIO does not pick up this syntax as an error. It might be too infrequently possible that it's not worth trying to include it, but I did try it!

User data (%UD) can be attached to a control but not to a menu item. I guess that it could be attached to a menu item but it would be an entirely new construction within the library.

Paul, while this would be "nice", it does not seem to fit syntactically. I appreciate the thought.

Can %ud be used on a Window (%ww or %sy)? Or does that mess with stuff internally?

Bill

Within ClearWin+ a Window has a different data base than a control and the %ud data only relates to a control. As above, it should be possible to extend the idea to a Window.
