If you want to send your executable to other users then you must also send them a copy of salflibc.dll. This DLL can be distributed free of charge. |

Thanks Paul,
How can one install FTN77 PE, say, on an USB-drive and then run FTN77 PE on another PC from that USB-drive? |

If you want to create an application on one machine and run it on another then just create the application (.exe) and then copy it (and salflibc.dll) to the other machine.
You don't need to copy anything else. |

I think what he's asking is 'can I install on the compiler and the other bits of the development platform' on a thumb drive and not have to put anything on the C drive. |

Thanks John, it does work.
I installed FTN95 Personal Ed. 7.00 to an USB directory and it compiles and executes nicely on another PC (portable).
However, what's the intent of the fvars.bat file (it appears not to exist, neither on the PC nor on the USB drive)? |
