Dear Support
After upgrading my FTN95 recently I received a simpleplot example in the documentation. I tried to compile the example but cannot since the compiler cannot find the subroutines required (e.g. call initsp). Please let me know what I may be missing from the download. My simple.dll dates back to 1998, I believe.
Regards

You need to link with simple.dll, i.e. ftn95 simple3.for /link /library simple.dll |

You have confused me. I can make program work that use %pl without userdraw as long as I have the simple.dll in e.g. the directy with the program. However, I cannot make the 'userdraw' option work. Is this really a link problem?

The %pl example in the FTN95 user's guide without the user_drawn option does not contain any explicit calls to simpleplot subroutines. This means it does not need to directly link with the simpleplot DLL. The example that uses the user_drawn option does call simpleplot subroutines, so needs to be linked with the simpleplot DLL as mentioned in my previous reply.
Hope this helps,
Martin. |
