Paul,
In Plato Ver 4.62, when using "find in file", the Result1 window display is being corrupted.
Each line of found text is written in black, then the search text is overwritten in blue, but about 1" to the left of the same black text.
For long search text, this makes the result difficult to read.
This did not occur in Ver 4.51.
I have now reinstalled FTN95 Ver 6.35.0 on both the desktop and notebook.
This problem persists on the notebook, but does not occur on the desktop.
Also the earlier hovering on the start bar problem persists on the notebook, but does not appear on the desktop !!
I shall delete all of FTN95 from the notebook, then reinstall and see what I can do.

I get a similar effect with plato v4.63 but the highlighted text is on the right of the original text. i only see the problem with a "wide screen" laptop. |

This problem is with the font size settings. I am not sure why it is occurring, but can be corrected by resetting the font text size.

This bug has now been fixed for the next release.
In the mean time you should use the same font face and the same font size for source windows as for output windows. The fix forces these to be the same. |
