After creating an explicit ClearWin+ main window using create_window@, I am confused about how then to use winio@ to make edit boxes, buttons, etc, as child windows of this main window, positioned within the main window frame.
I am probably missing something but none of the examples seem to cover this functionality.

create_window@ is an old routine that you should probably ignore. Before ClearWin+ there was ClearWin that used this routine and others. The + in ClearWin+ is for winio@ which creates its own Window.
When you use %cw within winio@ you are creating an embedded (old-style) ClearWin window.
To get started, look for the ClearWin+ tutorial in ftn95.chm. |
