The command
will output details regarding the compiler and the platform. If the compiler is not in the default path, you can type the full path as a prefix to "ftn95". |

Whenever I install a newer version of FTN95 I enter the option /NOCOLOUR in the options file ftn95.cfg, since the color scheme used by FTN95 clashes with my choice of colours for the command window (black on gray background). |

These colours can be configured by using the environment variable SALFORD_COLOUR. See ftn95.chm under FTN95 > Program development > Salford environment variables. |

thanks mecej4 and Dietamr
Paul,
just a docu error to note - when searching the online HELP for /NOCOLOUR (I know, mecej4 said in the config file !) I came across the command line option /COLOUR, which has an incorrect (probably old) link to SALFORD ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES here on this page :-
https://www.silverfrost.com/ftn95-help/options/idh_message_options.aspx
It chould of course be this:-
https://www.silverfrost.com/ftn95-help/environ/salfordenvironmentvariables.aspx
I've spent some not inconsiderable time in the past trying to change colours of command prompt window text via it's own window options ... now I know !
I guess I should print off a list of all command line options ...... there's a thought .... as well as pages with indivuidually grouped OPTIONS the HELP documentation would be enhanced with in addition single table woth ALL OPTIONS listed (with an extra column indicating in which 'group ' of options it lies)
Update 11/6/2019
An (almost) complete list of command line OPTIONS exists in the .chm HELP, and also via ftn95 /? on the command line, but not as far as I can see in the online manual. _________________ ''Computers (HAL and MARVIN excepted) are incredibly rigid.
