I am trying to link a program with several Fortran subroutine using Windows 7 and the Plato system. All of the subroutines compile with no errors. However, when I try to "build" the linker errors out with a message "cannot create the run module xxxxx", where xxxxx is my module name. Any ideas? Sid Kraft |

Sometimes, the reason for "unable to create ..." is that the programme you want to build (or a part of it) is still running. My first test in such a situation is to start the task manager and look whether this is true (and if, to kill the process).
