From where do I get the Visual Basic plug-ins? Are they included in the Personal Edition? If not, is it possible to get a test version?
Best regards,

If you mean the personal edition of FTN95 then no. I expect that you will be able to download an Express version of Visual Studio for Visual Basic by going to the Microsoft download site. As far as I know you will be able to run that along side any other (non Express) version of Visual Studio.
But the normal installation of Visual Studio Express for say Visual Basic will, by default, overwrite an earlier installation of Visual Studio Express for say FTN95. |

Dear Paul,
thank you very much for your very quick answer.
At the moment I am looking into the Visual Studio- and the .NET-family, into Windows Forms, WPF etc., etc. and I am trying to find out how Fortran, ClearWin, Visual Clearwin, the interoperability of FTN95 etc. fit into all these new developments. For testing I had installed Visual Studio but I could not manage to integrate FTN95 via plug-ins. Help information is spread over many small text files but unfortunately I could not find any instruction for the integration. May be that I have overlooked somewhere something. At the end I found the solution: I had to reinstall FTN95, which offers during installation an option to plug-in to Visual Studio.
That was rather poor start to learn more about the more modern Silverfrost products. Is there anywhere a more general overview?
Best regards,
