If you open the FTN95 help file, ftn95.chm, and see 'Navigation Cancelled' in the details pane then you are not on your own! For unclear reasons, Microsoft have made it difficult to view .chm files. There are three main reasons for receiving the 'Navigation Cancelled':

1. You opened ftn95.chm from the Silverfrost.com website. Although an obvious thing to do it will not work correctly.

2. You opened ftn95.chm either from a network drive or from a UNC share (which may be on your machine). This will not work.

The solution to both these situations is to copy the file onto your local C: drive and open it. However, even if you do that you may see:

3. You have downloaded ftn95.chm and placed on your local C: drive. Although this is the correct thing to do, if you have Vista or Windows 7 there is another hurdle in your way. You need to 'unblock' the file to allow it to work. To do this right-click the file in explorer and click 'Properties'. Now click the 'Unblock' button and ftn95.chm should now display correctly.
