|
|
Summary
When attempting to run a Salford FTN95 compiled program errors relating to entry point:
_FTN95INIT1_
in the Salford dll, salflibc.dll not being located are produced. Occaisonally errors related to other entry points not being located in salflibc.dll are also produced.
Solution
These problems usually occur when multiple versions of salflibc.dll are present on the system and an older version than that used by the compiler itself is picked up. Recent versions of FTN95 ship with a utility, SALDIAG.EXE, which can help with fixing this problem. When run, the utility can locate and rename/remove old versions of salflibc.dll.
In general only one copy of salflibc.dll needs to be on the system compiling and/or running FTN95 programs. This is usually located in the FTN95 install directory (default is: "c:program filessalford softwareftn95"). |
