Hi Dan: I just converted from Windows XP to Windows 7. Every time I create a new project file, load in a simple fortran fixed program and execute, I get a compilation completed successfully and then an access error telling me that a certain instruction was trying to write to location 7fff0000. When I try to execute, sometimes I get an internal linker error or a "target not found". I have tried with several different test programs and also programs that did execute successfully on Windows XP. For some reason, the programs will not run under Windows 7, on my laptop nor my desktop. One of the more simple program is as follows:
ITEST1 = 1
ITEST2 = 2
WRITE(7,100) ITEST1, ITEST2
100 FORMAT(1X,2I4)
END
I AM AT MY WITS END AND READY TO SWITCH BACK TO Win XP. Please advise, Sid kraft |
