Here are 2 things I'd like to see in plato.
1) Have the syntax coloring extended to include when I print the code to a printer capable of color printing...
2) extend the "auto in-dent" feature to include "auto out-denting" the closing enddo/endif/etc... Similar to what matlab does in it's IDE

Hi Bruce,
If you use the old fashioned card image format, then the statement number provides "out-denting".
Along with the ability to know where you are going before you go there, instead of only discovering where you are going when you arrive (now work that out!) - the deprecated features of old-style Fortran have a lot to commend them.

Plato provides auto-outdenting for C/C++ but it is a little more tricky for Fortran. However, as I recall, you can press shift and Enter to outdent. |
