|

Paul,
I've just installed version 5.30, and it will not integrate with Visual Studio 2005. The check box options for VS 2005 & 2008 are greyed out.
The installation is on Vista and the Microsoft updates you described for 5.20 have been installed.
Help

Hi Ian,
The FTN95 5.30 installer is stricter when checking for supported versions. Which version of Visual Studio 2005 are you using - is it standard edition?
You might be able to install the FTN95 plugin into VS 2005 manually by launching FTN95_VS_PLUGIN_2005.msi. This package can be found in "%temp%\7z???.tmp\" when you start the FTN95 5.30 installer. |

Martin,
Thanks, that worked, but it seems that it is necessary to take a copy of the .msi file after the main install has started, and before it finishes as it tidies up and removes the file.
Regards

Ian
Do you have VS 2005 Standard Edition? |

We need to modify the installer so it recognises the 'Standard' version. |

It recognised it in 5.20, but the work-around did the trick.
