Hello,
If using fixed format fortran code (.FOR?) how can I continue a statement on the next line? I thought I could do this by continuing the statement on column 6 of the next line, or by using a & at the end of each line but I get errors with each of these.
Thanks

Put any character (other than zero) in column 6 of the continued line.
Then continue your statement in columns 7 to 72.
Avoid using tabs. The compiler translates a tab to 8 spaces so, if you want to use tabs, configure Plato using this setting or get Plato to convert tabs to spaces when typing. |
