Hi everyone

Not posted for a bit, been doing SQL and C# work, instead of Fortran. Any way just got made redundant from my current job Mad. I am generally scratching my head for things to apply for. I have had a few interviews one which I would love to get with Mathworks in Cambridge, UK. Others, would be ok doing more mundane SQL and C# stuff.

A Fortran job would probably be very cool, but seem to be very hard to come by. Does anyone know where to look? or have any suggestions for speculative emails. (or even better a job!)

I still don't really know what I want to do when I grow up (I am nearly 34). So any crazy suggestions welcome!

As I see it my wish list is

Maths, Data Analysis , Software, Innovation,Hardware, algorithms....

I have a Phd in Experimental Nonlinear Dynamics and Fluid Mechanics

if I could use this, this would be and added bonus!

Carl

Carl,

Try FEA Ltd. (writers of Lusas), http://www.lusas.com/jobs/index.html

I know the current software job vacancy asks for C++ but I also know that most of their source code is written in fortran!

cheers,
John
