Paul
I have loaded your latest version of FTN95 (v 5.4) and my VS 2008 (Academic Edition) seems to be correctly integrated during the FTN95 install. However when I try to start a FTN95 Clearwin project I get the following warning
C:\Program Files\Silverfrost\FTN95\FTN95 for Microsoft Visual Studio\Ftn95PrjProjects\FTN95 VISUAL CLEARWIN.ftn95p cannot be opened because its project type (.ftn95p) is not supported by this version of the application.
To open it, please use a version that supports this type of project.
Any ideas?

Have you already tried to prompt
devenv /resetskippkgs
in the visual studio command line (from visual studio tools)?
If it doesn't work I have no more ideas!

The plugin that ships with 5.40 now should be fine, that older post was before we released an updated installer.
I would suggest a full uninstall and reinstall, making sure you are logged on with administrative privileges.
This academic version - this the professional edition, correct? |

Thanks for the help. Emanuele's sugestion using devenv.... did actually work in the end.It required a computer restart after installing the plug in. This then allowed everything to operate.
Andrew I'm pleased 5.4 has now been updated -I will try it on a different machine.
