I'm using enhanced menues for my programs with bitmap entries for some menues. Unfortunately these menues look a bit ugly, because the background of the menu does not have the correct background color like the other normal menus. Is there any color to be used in the bitmap as a transparent color (like in icons)?

Hi everybody,
does nobody have an answer to my question? Does nobody use enhanced menus?

I did once, several years ago, for a little toy app, as part of learning my way around ClearWin+. But not since. Sorry I can't help. |

Detlef,
I do not believe there is a transparent colour available for these bitmaps.
I set all the rgb components to 192 for the background, which works well for me.

I probably cannot help, but if you have a very simple program to explain your problem I can:
1.) reproduce it on my PC (and perhaps learn something) and
2.) might even put in some effort to help.
For me it is little effort to copy, paste and compile |
