Hi,

I'm trying to make a resizable bit-mapped window for SimplePlot with full mouse support; namely, add a pivot and user resize capabilities to the following statement:

iAns = WINIO@('%^dw[full_mouse_input]', HDC_DIM % iBitmapDC,icb)

as advertised in the docs, I can't do it. How do I pass the bitmap back to ClearWin if I take out the argument?

Thanks,
Bruce

I am a little puzzled by your aim.
%dw provides a relatively low-level control that acts as a "drawing surface" for Windows API drawing routines such as DrawText.
In contrast %pl provides a "drawing surface" for SimplePlot routines.
Normally you would choose between using either %pl or %dw.
In fact %dw is a old control that was effectively made redundant by %gr.
%pl is usually prefered to %gr when drawing graphs.

You should probably confine your attention to %pl and investigate the advanced SimplePlot features that are described in the Silverfrost Knowledge base.

Thanks for the guidance...changing to pl worked but I still seem to be unable to make it a MDI. Is it that I can't have multiple simpleplots open at a time, even with pl? Is there any way to have multiple simpleplots open at a time? If there is, a code fragement would be great.

Thanks
